I started Quinntessential Photography when my friend was selling her old DSLR camera. It was a Canon 30D which was a very outdated model but I bought it and used it for the first two years of my business. That shows you its the person behind the camera and not the camera itself right?
My photography business has allowed me to meet the most wonderful people. I've been a part of weddings, the births of children and the reunion of families. There is nothing greater than getting the capture the most important moments in people's lives. It is hard work though. I've spent countless hours hunched over in front of my computer, rubbing my eyes. But I love it so I'll continue to strain my eyes. My goal with every shoot and with every wedding is to give my client something that they can cherish for years and years to come. I try to foster a comfortable session environment and focus on shooting the candid moments. Because who wants to be stuck in a weird pose anyway?
I think it's really important that you are comfortable with your photographer. The photos that come out of the session are more natural, more YOU, when you are comfortable with the person behind the lens.Read More
I met Gaby, Josh and Eleanora at a birthday party I was hired to photograph. They radiated fun and love. Months later, I got an email through my website from the lovely Gaby asking me if I was available to photograph their wedding.
This was my second year of business, and a very busy year at that, so I jumped at the chance. Boy, am I glad I did!
Gaby and Josh were married on August 22, 2015 and it was amazing. So much love and so much dancing!
I typically add all of my clients on Facebook and I remember seeing this cute photo of Gaby and her husband Josh pop up one day, they had just run in a race and Josh had a beer in either hand. The caption made my jaw drop and comment with excitement as they announced that they were pregnant! Woo!
My favorite thing is when my clients come back to me and ask me to capture MORE special moments in their lives. So once little MVP was born, I was there with my camera at the ready. Gaby and Josh wanted this to be lifestlye and genuine, so I came to their cute little home and we captured the sweetest little boy.
